I donated to the Obama campaign. But maybe I should have slipped the Republicans a little so they could have educated Palin on the Constitution. She needs that much more than she needs clothes.How do you feel about your Republican campaign donation going to hair makeup %26amp; outfits for Palin?

I would bet that the same also applies to the Obama campaign, the media just won't cover it





No it doesn't make it ok but it points out that the media will hang on any story that would make McCain/Palin look bad but ignore the same when it comes to Obama





So you don't think all the new suits and dresses and makeup etc. Obama pays for with his own money do you??
I agree. She needs education more than clothes. It would have been better for her to start reading the Wall Street Journal. I'm sure that someone in the Republican campaign contingent reads that paper and she can borrow it every day..





I can see the reason why the Republican party wanted her appearance to meet certain standards as she would represent them. They claim that they will donate those garments but do you believe it? It's used. Unless auctioned off, they probably could not recover their costs. It's just a campaign tax write off.





It is somewhat inappropriate, due to her claims of being from the small town world of Joe Six Pack and Joe the Plumber. Think of how many years worth of income for some citizens $150,000 represents. Why does a soccer mom need clothes from Nieman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue? Cindy McCain is wealthy. She might shop there but the rest of us shop at Target and Walmart or Macy's and Nordstrom for better value.





I guess I'm just jealous.
The same holds true for the democratic party as well. Michelle Obama had a $1000 lunch for her. And, I am sure she has an image consultant as well, that the democratic party is flipping the bill on, but you do not hear that in the liberal media. You also do not hear that Obama's citizenship is in question, and yesterday after an interview with Palin and McCain, which I thought went EXTREMELY well, Tom Brokaw reiterated all this stuff about Palin and McCain. He berated Palin, and said nothing positive. I am sorry but fair and biased? NO WAY!!! I will be soooo happy when the election is OVER!!!!
I guess she's getting her sunshine while she can because unfortunately she's not going to earn a living as a VP come November its back to Alaska for Ms. Palin.
I would rather that Jeff Larson be out buying Sarah Palin underwear than that he be making robocalls full of lies or figuring out how to rig the electronic voting machines.
And so that makes it okay Tyranosaur... You suppose something, and that justifies it.
