How should I wear my hair and makeup for prom?

I need specifics. My dress is dark hot pink and its a halter so I was thinking updo but my hair is short. It's cut like Ashlee Simpsons when she died it dark. And it's red with small blonde highlights. I have fair skin and freckles. Im completely clueless right now though so please help me. Pictures would be great. I would not do an updo 'cause then you'll be messing and trying to fix it all night!!!
do u want a natural or dark dramatic look? if u want natural, wear light pink lipgloss, bronze or pink eyeshadow, and mascara. if u want a dark look, go with mascara, eyeliner and fun eyeshadow colors.


wear ur hair down with a little poof on top! that's always cute and it keeps ur hair out of ur face.
