My mom and dad won't let me be emo because they think it's wrong and stupid. And, they don't have the money to buy me clothes from hot topic....or makeup....help?How can I get my parents to let me be emo? And how to do scene emo hair and makeup and clothes?

if arent to freaked out, you could try cutting your hair (bangs and layer them) and if you cut it, your parents cant make you change that anyways..

I would recommend going to your local beauty college. They will usually give haircuts for free(or really cheap). But I would be a little afraid because they are not yet pros. For makeup you can go to really any makeup store(sephora, mac, bare essentials) and they will show do your makeup and show you how to do it. What should I do for my 8th grade grad dance? I have a black dress that has some white in it and it cuts off at my knees. I have light/medium skin. I have bluish/green/grey eyes, and long dark blonde or light brown hair that's pretty thick and naturally kind of wavy and curly. I can get my hair cut and styled.

I think you should go and get your hair straightened with a hair straightener. For makeup find your right color for foundation and use pink eyeshadow and black eyeliner. If your hair is light i would use clear mascara because if you use black mascara it would stick out alot.

I hope not, as this would add hundreds of dollars to our wedding cost! Still, I don't want to slight them if this is expected. The only thing I can't stand is when brides not only expect to the BMs to pay for their expensive ugly dresses AND shoes, but also for professional hair/makeup that the bride INSISTS they have. Ugh. I am of the mind that BMs shouldn't even have to pay for their dresses, but that's just me. Demanding that they get their hair/makeup done -- and paying for it -- is ridiculous, in my mind.

HOWEVER, one of the bridesmaids was trying to curl my hair and burned the side of my forehead with a curling iron--right before my sister's ceremony! I was almost in tears because it eventually left a huge brown scar.
SO...because of that, I hired a professional to do all the girls' hair %26amp; make-up just because that made me not trust just a friend to do it, sorry to say that, but getting hurt was just one thing I didn't want myself or the bridesmaids to worry about at my wedding. Plus, my bridesmaids were excited because it was just part of their gift! They didn't have to worry about bringing make-up or anything.
You don't have to hire someone to do everyone's hair %26amp; make-up, that's just the route I went since I have a previous bad experience and I wanted to pamper them. You can just have your own done professionally, and nobody will think you're rude, just do what you can afford.

When my daughter got married, they ALL went to the beauty shop, it was fun. They took before and after pics and had appetizers while each waited the their turn. (all paying for own services) We look back at the pics and laugh remembering the ';PRE'; Wedding looks.
They also had to have their shoes alike, all hems of the dresses had to be the same. You pay a lot for your pictures and all of these things help with the looks of these...

It's not selfish, bridesmaids are supposed to buy their own dresses and get their hair/make-up done however they like it, which means they can either do it themselves or get it done professionally. IMHO, it's selfish of someone to expect the people that are getting married and are ALREADY spending thousands of dollars on the wedding to also provide such details that you can totally do yourself.
No, you don't pay for their hair/makeup. What I did was book my hairdresser for the morning of my wedding. I made appointments for my bridesmaids so everyone's hair was similar but they paid for it themselves. I have never been in a wedding where a bride pays for the hair %26amp; makeup %26amp; i have been a bridesmaid at least a half a dozen time.
You don't need to pay for their hair or makeup. I would ask them if they would like to have their hair done professionally and arrange for someone to come for them as well, but have them pay for themselves. It works out very well that way- those who want to partake in it can, and those who don't- don't
Attendants pay for their own personal grooming UNLESS they are asked to have things in some very special particular way. If someone else is making the choices, then that someone else foots the bill.

When my daughter got married, they ALL went to the beauty shop, it was fun. They took before and after pics and had appetizers while each waited the their turn. (all paying for own services) We look back at the pics and laugh remembering the ';PRE'; Wedding looks.
They also had to have their shoes alike, all hems of the dresses had to be the same. You pay a lot for your pictures and all of these things help with the looks of these...

It's not selfish, bridesmaids are supposed to buy their own dresses and get their hair/make-up done however they like it, which means they can either do it themselves or get it done professionally. IMHO, it's selfish of someone to expect the people that are getting married and are ALREADY spending thousands of dollars on the wedding to also provide such details that you can totally do yourself.
No, you don't pay for their hair/makeup. What I did was book my hairdresser for the morning of my wedding. I made appointments for my bridesmaids so everyone's hair was similar but they paid for it themselves. I have never been in a wedding where a bride pays for the hair %26amp; makeup %26amp; i have been a bridesmaid at least a half a dozen time.
You don't need to pay for their hair or makeup. I would ask them if they would like to have their hair done professionally and arrange for someone to come for them as well, but have them pay for themselves. It works out very well that way- those who want to partake in it can, and those who don't- don't
Attendants pay for their own personal grooming UNLESS they are asked to have things in some very special particular way. If someone else is making the choices, then that someone else foots the bill.

i dont think so, i was my sisters bridesmaid and we did our own hair and make-up, we also paid for our own dresses (she gave us a colour and sort of style she liked and we chose them)
i dont think its fair to expect the bride to pay for all these things especially hair and make up, most bridemaids are the sisters of the bride and or their best friends if these people dont understand that the bride cant afford to pay for their hair and make they arent very good friends etc...

Speak to your stylist; sometimes the salon will give a price break if the whole wedding party comes together.
Otherwise, this is just another expense for accepting the job of being in the wedding party.

But if you ';don't care'; how they wear their hair, then you are not expected to pay for it.
And it isn't selfish for you to get your hair done professionally. It's your day.

Then apply bronzer where sun hits your face (cheeks, nose, forehead)
Because you have brown eyes, I suggest using a blue/purple eyeliner to line the bottom of your eyes (use black pencil and then use eyeshadow to line it if you don't have blue eyeliner... by doing this you can make the liner any color you want) Use a liner to line the top lid... if it looks to harsh use a light colored eyeshadow to blend it

How should I do my hair and makeup?
I have a light bubblegum pink dress for graduation. and my hair is medium short length and it is like a chesnut brown.How should I do my hair and makeup?

If you are kind of skinny with a clean circle face you should try curling your hair in bouncy spirals all over that would be really cute andf for makeup it depends on the color of your eyes. If you have blue eyes like mtself you should try brown for your eyeshadow and some eyeliner will really help bring out your eyes.
makeup: try a pearl color eyeshadow and apply around your inner corners then apply black eyeliner and mascara
hair: either straighten it and put half up or just leave it down

What are some simple, but creative ideas for hair and makeup for college?
I think it's good (for any women but especially busy women) to keep a balance in their beauty regimen. As in not spending hours infront of the mirror but being unkempt with poor hygiene skills either.
Here are my tips:
1. Take very good care of you hair. Keep it extremely healthy and treat it like royalty. Don't waste time on heat styling or blowdrying. Just learn to work with natural texture. Healthy hair is beautiful hair. And if you need advice on keeping it healthy, just ask me. And put it up in simple ways, so that it stays out of your face yet still looks put together.
2. Take great care of your skin. The better your skin, the less cover up make up you need to use. I would suggest only using powder for shine and oil blotting sheets.
3. Use a good mascara and eyeliner on the TOP to bring out your eyes. And a tinted lip balm for a natural yet pretty look.
4. Pick out your clothes the night before. This way you won't waste time in the morning wondering what to wear. And you won't resort to wear sweats all of the time.
5. Pick a day once a week to do a nice beauty regimen. For example every Saturday I shave my legs (my leg hair grows extra slow so if this isn't the case for you try waxing.) I also use a nosestrip, face max, pluck my eyebrows and do my nails.
5. And of course take good care of your hair. You'll most likely be eating at a dining hall, so make sure to stock up on lots of fresh veggies and fruit and plenty of water. Get daily exercise (walking is great) and take a multi vitamin.

I hate using bright unnatural colors; I feel like people should look at me and go, ';What pretty eyes!'; not ';What pretty eye makeup!'; Shades of brown, copper, and gold in different combinations make blue eyes pop without seeming fake. Try doing a brown-toned smoky eye to really draw attention to your eyes and make them the focal point of your face.
I've heard grey or silver looks nice too, but I've never tried it.
you can buy eyeshadow by almay specifically designed to bring out blue eyes. they arent crazy outrageous colors either. its called almay intense eye color. also brown eyeliner and mascara are the best. and use a light pink or clear lipgloss.

What i do is use a tinted moisturizer, with spf, and put that on my face %26amp; neck.
Then i take primer, paint pot from mac, and put that on my eyelids so my eyeshadow doesn't crease.
then I put on Honey Lust colour from MAC, just up to my eyelids.
then I take a golden white colour and put it on my brow bone, in my crease and on the inside corner of my eye.
Next I use a black eyeliner and go all the way along my water line.
Curl my lashes, a little mascara and I'm good to go. Sometimes I'll put eyeliner on my top eyelid, but only sometimes =)

I have light blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin and I can never find an eye makeup look that I like. I like my eyes to stand out, but I usually end up looking like a raccoon. I use browns, neutrals, and peaches. I use eye shadow (Maybelline) as liner just get some shadow on the brush and put it on like regular eye liner. I also use Maybelline lash stylist mascara in soft black and start out at the base of lashes and wiggle your way to the tips. Do a couple-few coats. i love the dress, and i think that a bun would look good. put your hair in a side ponytail and then divide that into two parts and braid them, tying them off seperately. then twist the braids together and wrap them around the ponytail and pin it in place.

i love the dress, and i think that a bun would look good. put your hair in a side ponytail and then divide that into two parts and braid them, tying them off seperately. then twist the braids together and wrap them around the ponytail and pin it in place.

What do professional volleyball players do with their hair and makeup?
i sweat all the time when i play. and sweat hurts when it goes in your eyes. gosh, i cant imagine what it would be like if mascara, eyeshadow, etc went in my eye. all the make up would get messed up. im sure they don't wear make up, or they wear waterproof ones (idk if they can withstand sweat though)

hi. i have gym class 1st period every other day, and when we do really active sweaty stuff, like push up tests and running, my hair always gets really gross and my makeup like.....dissolves....away. So since this happens, my hair and face is pretty ruined for the whole day. Like, I'll straighten my hair and itll be perfectly straight, and after gym, its all kinky, even though i use gel and stuff.
