How do I get a job doing hair and makeup for the runway?

My hubby is a wiz at hair and makeup and has done it ';freelance'; for years and many ladies have asked him to get them ready for proms and weddings. He is starting school for it in October. We live in Alabama and realize a move is a must. Anyone know how to get started for a career in hair and makeup artist for the runway?How do I get a job doing hair and makeup for the runway?
You have lots of work ahead of you. I would start with searching the internet for lots of sites and take it from there, you will also find lots of things you have not thought about
