i dont know but theres so many ';first day of school outfit emergency help' stuff on hre! its driving me nuts! i have a uniform anyway, but i just did all the normal stuff, iwent back to school yesterday, and everyone was exactly the same as usual and NOBODY CARES!!!! lol
In all honesty, I think it depends. I'm a guy barely going into high school. My first day was today, and I was freaking out. Brand new schools are tough, and you really wanna make a good impression. Why go looking like crud on the first day? What's that gonna make your teachers think? Just be yourself.
because they want to feel confident, they want that day to be memorable to them they want others to remember them, and they just care about the first impression others get of them. some people actually care about how they look and enjoy it. have a problem with that??

I think it's mainly because of first impressions. You can never make a second first impression. You want to be recognized in a good way by your teachers and peers. Then, after the first week, the fun is over and it's just dumb old school again. lol :)

Wow, thank you. I cannot tell you how many questions I've seen on here that were on the lines of ';omg 1st day of school fashion emergency help???????';. It's pathetic.
Kids, you're going to school! Focus on getting good grades instead of freaking out over things no one even cares about. Wear whatever you want, WE DON'T CARE.
