What should I do and wear (hair, nails, makeup, etc) to play the part of a jail break aunt at a wedding?

We are doing a project in school where we have to pretend that we moved out of our parents house and are starting our own lives. Throughout the project the teacher gives you different tasks that you have to complete. One of them is a wedding in which everyone has to participate. The couple getting married decided to have a list of the types of guests they want at their wedding. We were all given characters to play and we have to be in character during the wedding ceremony and reception that we are having in class. What should I do and wear (hair, nails, makeup, etc) to play the part of a jail break aunt at a wedding?
Wow, I see her as tacky and ill prepared. If she's girly, her hair could be teased or you could do a tacky job with the curling iron or a crimper (the horrible triangle hair!). If she's just desperate, the hair could be greasy and unkempt, so add hair goop and go crazy. Or, on some of the women in jail shows, I see the ladies hair is sometimes cornrowed or french-braided.

What if she was in prison since the 80's?

For the 80's: you could crimp your hair, put on plastic earrings and bracelets, wear a short layered skirt, or get bike shorts. If you do shorts, they should be black or have a neon color. If you do a skirt, may I suggest polka dots or strips. Oh, this is so wonderfully hideous! To top it off: you can wear bike shorts WITH the ruffled skirt.

80's hair was a little big: we did weird stuff like wear just one earring, pull the hair up on one side in a hair comb or flowered hair claw. Blue eyeshadow and pink lips, medium or dark pink, not light. I was a kid, but I still remember! ew! And don't forget using hair products and combs to create huge ';fans'; of hair out of your bangs, or fans on the sides of your head. OR there's the old ponytail on one side of your head...not cute and modest near the back and on your neck. No, that side ponytail was right by your ear, really obnoxious! ROTFL!

For an outfit to wear to the wedding (still 80's) there are lots of great ugly dresses with ruffles and big bows.

As you can see, I fell in love with the idea that the aunt is 30 something, went to jail in the 80's, and gets out of jail. Maybe she gets out of jail in the same 80's outfit she went in with. Or she breaks out and goes home and goes to her old room. She ends up having to go to the wedding, but she only has her old stuff to choose from!

Well I have more ideas, but I'll just plop some links below.

How to keep skin clear and fast, good makeup/ hair ideas, and clothes?

how to get my skin cleared up and as quick as possibe? How to keep eye liner on all day?How to get my skin tan (legs)? Good clothes ideas... where are the best places to shop? What are some good layering ideas for shirts? where to get good/ cute shoes? please helpHow to keep skin clear and fast, good makeup/ hair ideas, and clothes?
Oh my god. This is the longest question ever. lol.

These are all things that every girl wants to know! :]

To keep your skin clear you need to find a good routine for yourself. My skin has been pretty clear lately and I have been getting a chemical peel every other week, I wash my face in the morning and at night (with cetaphil. It works great for me but everyone's skin is different so it is pretty much trial and error... in any case if you break out a lot look for some kind of face wash with salilic acid or benzyl peroxide, they KILL zits).

And wear sunscreen EVERY SINGLE DAY OF YOUR LIFE. There are alot of good oil free versions at the drugstore. I like Neutrogena. Just make sure it is both non-comedagenic and oil free or you could break out.

For the eyeliner, buy the good kind like MAC and layer a bit of translucent powder over it to help it stay all day.

For the tan, use tanning lotion. Tanning beds are so 1997 and give you wrinkles. Just make sure to exfoliate beforehand or you'll be spoltchy.

The best places to shop imo are Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom (for shoes esp), Wet Seal, Express and Charlotte Russe.

Layer thin shirts together because if there are too many thicker shirts together you will look kind of chunky. Try layering lacy tank tops with sundresses. That's going to be one of the hot trends for the summer.

And the shoes- Nordstrom is the best. I'm in love with Steve Madden.

Good luck with all of this :] !!How to keep skin clear and fast, good makeup/ hair ideas, and clothes?
Well for clearing up skin,I wash my face repeatedly through the day.And not just a few but almost everytime I go into the bathroom. With only water,if you use cleaning stuff to much your skin will get irratated
use reg dove soap for best results of clean skin.

eyeliner- just fix it every 2-3 hours

tan- by the sun or fake tan

For the pther answers i would say HOLLISTER or FOREVER 21
use tanning lotion for legs... vans has some cute shoes! i would advise you not to buy tank tops at abercrombie, most of mine just rip =(

How should I do my hair and makeup help for my school's winter dance?

I have a winter dance at my school and I need ideas for how to do my hair and makeup. I have green eyes, and a round face shape. I have medium-length light brown hair; all one length and very straight, it curls, but it takes FOREVER. My dress is a red halter. I don't have very much time before the dance to do my hair, and I will be doing it myself. Thanks so much for your help. How should I do my hair and makeup help for my school's winter dance?
I absolutely love doing my own hair for dances. It saves a lot of money, and it's fun! So, here's basically what I did for school's winter dance.

Hair: Put your hair (after it has dried) into a ponytail, around the middle of your head. Make sure it's loose enough. Then grab the hair and pull it through, under itself. That's really confusing. Let me try again. Make a small hole near your head on top of the ponytail. (separate the hair by your head) . Then take the hair and pull it up through the top and then down. Your hair should the be ';looped';. Take some hair pins (like bobby-pins) and twist the hair that's sticking out on the bottom. Pin them up under your ponytail. Then (depending on the length of your hair) you could either pin the extra hair all around your head, or you could (try!) to curl what's left.

Makeup: Basically, go simple. You don't need a bunch of makeup to look nice. I would go with a SMALL amount of silver eyeshadow, which you brush on all the way up to your brow. Lengthening mascara is your friend, don't be afraid of it! Other than that, gloss, gloss, gloss. I loveeee gloss that stays on for hours. There's one by covergirl, I think. Check walmart. Depending on your skintone (mine is super light) you could try brushing some blush or bronzer on your chest and shoulders. This evens out your skin tone and adds that extra bit of color.

EDIT: I just did this with my own hair, and just so you know, if your hair is anything like mine, you will need MANY pins! It took 27 for me to get all my hair up!

Also, remember to tuck the pins in. Use a color similar to your hair color to help them blend in. =]How should I do my hair and makeup help for my school's winter dance?

How should I do my hair and makeup while traveling?

I'm going on an 18 hour train ride on the weekend and want to know how I should do my hair and makeup that's low-maintenance but still looks really cute. How should I do my hair and makeup while traveling?
don't do it at all.How should I do my hair and makeup while traveling?
you can get it braided in cornrows that way you wont have to style it and it lasts a couple days
i told u makeup on the first one and ur hair a pony tail

or if u have a flat iron that would look good
put your hair up - with a simple but elegant twist

gather your hair at the back of your neck into a ponytail

twist it, while turning the ponytail up, and tuck the hair into the folds, then clip with a strong clip - fluff up the bits of hair at the top of the clip to create an interesting puff of hair at the top of the clip, ensuring you hide the clip when fluffing up the hair. do this while your hair is still semi dry - and your hair will maintain it's moisture - when you take it out again, it has an interesting texture which can easily be styled for something classy.

This hair style can even jazz up a casual looking out fit.
use some neutral colored shadow and light mascera- smudgeproof. the last thing you want is totally blackish and smudged makeup on a long trip. hair- you can leave it down or braid it. if you put it up in a ponytail or bun it'll be uncomfortable sitting. (i have lots of experience with long rides and uncomfortable hairstyles!) if you wear foundation, use a lighter or more natural one because you don't want to feel cakey on your trip. have fun!

How would you do your hair and makeup for acting headshots?

ThanksHow would you do your hair and makeup for acting headshots?
Do your hair straight, and your makeup natural.

They need to be able to see the amount of versatility you have with your look.

Good luck with the gig.

`tiaHow would you do your hair and makeup for acting headshots?
You get a professional.
You should get someone to do it. Never go with dark colors for headshots. I have a few family members in the entertainment business and their headshots as well as others I have seen are always neutral colors. You don't want to have too much makeup on. Very light and natural looking.
The Natural Look:

Use primer.

Leave for 10 minutes.

Apply foundation with a foundation brush.

Cover any blemishes with a concealer.

Wear one coat of mascara.

Apply white eyeliner on the bottom lid.

Neaten your eyebrows.

Wear a light dusting on bronzer on you're cheek bones and around the face.

Apply nude lipgloss.

For the hairstyle do what hairstyle suits you, for some it's curls or straight. If you have curly hair, I suggest you keep it like that and just straighten the fringe.

I would go to the local beauty college and get an up-do, that's what I did, and they did a REALLY good job each time I went. For make up, you can either get it done or do it yourself...if you plan on getting it done, get an appointment quick, because they fill up fast!
